• Dr. Kieu Minh Luc was a lecturer at Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry. He graduated master's degree and PhD. from Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine in Japan in 1997. Researcher at the Southern Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology. He has more than 20 years experience as a pig breeding expert at C.P. Vietnam Livestock Company. Dr. Kieu Minh Luc’s research areas are livestock genetic improvement, livestock breeding systems and selection strategy for breeding animals, in which his researches focus mainly on genetic improvement for imported pig breeds in Vietnam including Landrace, Yorkshire and Duroc. Dr. Kieu Minh Luc's research on applications of mathematical models in livestock has supported to improve the accuracy of genetic evaluation and also breeding herd performance evaluation.
